Sixpence accepts new and previously worn gowns that are 2-3 years of age or less. Each gown will go through a 2-step screening process to make sure they are the right fit for our boutique and clients. All dresses must be dry cleaned and in ready to wear condition.

The consignment period is 8 months, during which time the consigner will maintain ownership of their gown while Sixpence showcases it on their behalf. Sixpence will work with each consigner to agree up on a price of the item/items they have consigned based on our pricing guidelines.

When consigning an item each consigner will receive 50% of the item once it has been sold.

Step 1:
If you are interested in consigning your gown please send a photo to jackie@sixpencebridal.ca along with the following information:
•  Designer and Style number of the dress
•  Colour
•  Size
•  A list of alterations done to the gown
•  Original purchase price of the dress before taxes and alterations; with receipt if available
•  Dry cleaning confirmation receipt

If your dress has not been dry cleaned we can have it done for you for an additional cost. Please indicate this in the email.

Step 2:
An appointment will be made with the consigner to go over the dress and any other bridal items they would like to consign. We will go over the pricing guidelines to help determine on a fair price for the items and then proceed with signing the Consignment Contract.

Upon the sale of your dress and/or items you will receive a call from Sixpence Bridal to let you know when you can pick up your cheque!
